Monthly Discussion & Social Group
Pobal is the Irish word for 'community'. This is the 5th year of the Pobal Gathering, and community focus remains a priority and a guide.
This isn't an initiatory group - there's nothing to join or sign or vow or swear. It's just regular safe space in which to meet like minded, mostly interesting individuals; for discussion of topics related to earth based spirituality (pagans, witches, shamans, heathens, vikings, inuits, druids, aboriginals, fey folk, native americans, and even wiccans are welcome ;o) Irish traditions, Thelema, Celtic-but-we-don't-call-it-that-as-the-Celts-never-existed-as-a-cohesive-group stuff, playing with fairies, guardianship of the land, magic and magick. Archaeology, anthrolopology, geology... pretty much any other ology... also welcome.
So, 1st Monday of every month, 8pm (til 10pm or thereabouts), Cruachan Aí Heritage Centre in the ancient royal seat of Connacht. Well, actually it's in Tulsk village, County Roscommon: which is very close to the ancient royal seat of Connacht and has lots of cool info about it, plus funky models and enthusiastic guided tours. Tell all your friends :oD
